Dedicated Support Team

First, I would say that our staff are here because we care. We care about the mission of the institution. But more importantly, our number one stakeholders, are students. And we do that by engaging with them, getting to know them outside the four walls of the classroom. Each of our students have stories. And we know that it's really important for us to get to know their stories so that we can better understand how to serve them efficiently and effectively.

Newman is working really hard to help all of our students succeed. From the first day they step on campus, Newman is putting a lot of resources into building a support team around all of our students, so that they can find success through their time here at Newman, your time in college, but also after that. We call it the GPS, part of our navigator program, that's the guide to personal success. And that involves some classes that that students will take, but also just mentors, connection with alumni and people who are working in the fields that they want to work in their desired careers. So they have those connections, they're being mentored, they know how to go for interviews, and set up resumes and all those things as well.

So we believe and connecting the community with the campus. Newman University has a very rich history of being in the Wichita community and we want to continue to grow that relationship and continue to utilize that relationship. Giving them that applied learning so that way they can take that back with them and utilize their education that we provide them here at Newman University to truly transform society.
