Scholarships

A merit scholarship is what they automatically give you once you're accepted to Newman, and that's based on either your GPA or your ACT or SAT score. Once you receive that scholarship, you can also look into different merits such as athletics and fine arts as well.

There are many types of scholarships that a student can receive. At first, I received some merit scholarships, those are the ones based on GPA and test scores. There are also a couple more other scholarships awarded. And one includes the Saint Newman scholarship, which I have. It's a full tuition scholarship.

The other program that we have that's really close to my heart is our ASC Community Leader Scholarship Program. It's for students who are very active in servant leadership, community involvement, volunteerism, and they come on campus interview and participate in a four year servant leadership program if admitted into the program with that scholarship.

So another way to receive aid at Newman is to be a part of the Honors Program. Not only that, it kind of offers you opportunities throughout the school year to also gain grants for traveling, grants for projects you may be doing and want to research them more. So there's definitely a lot of opportunities to get aid at Newman.
